Client wanted this hollowbody jazz style guitar converted. Did not use Bigsby so this was converted to hardtail.

Hole positions were carefully marked & drilled.

Bridge fitted & hole drilled at an angle thru block to insert cable.

Vax cable connected to bridge.

Jumped a bit ahead here with custom scratchplate made to take selector switch.

Hole cut in back. Old electrics stripped out apart from the volume control.

Spring retaining cup on Bigsby was used to house mini toggle switch to alternate between Vax & pups. Small disc of tortoise shell was made to match scratchplate.

Also string retainer made from 10mm aluminium bar sprayed gold. Brass would have been better.......

Switch prepared.

Motherboard & other controls fitted.
