Yamaha Pacifica 311 /vax 300 Conversion

The brief was to retain pups keeping only volume control. Here we are positioning components to see how much wood needs to be removed. The cavity is routed & sprayed with shielding paint.

Here we have prepared bridge to receive Vax saddles.
|
|
|
Slight routing under bridge to allow for piezo wires & vero-board connector.
|
|
|
Finished guitar. Mini toggle switches between pups/vax. 5 way switch active for pups & vax. This guitar lends itself to conversion. Very few problems with build & loadsa space!
